The International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance (International IDEA) and the Rule of Law Centre of Finland (RoL Centre), in partnership with the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina, will host the regional conference “Which Role for Artificial Intelligence in Electoral Processes?”, taking place in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina on 16 April 2024.
International IDEA is launching on 11 April the Perceptions of Democracy Survey (PODS), aimed at identifying how people understand and assess a range of attributes of democracy in their country contexts. In celebration of this, International IDEA, in collaboration with the Embassy of Portugal in Stockholm, invites you to a discussion on the transition to democracy in Portugal and the lessons that can be drawn from it. Transparency of politics, particularly political finance, is a cornerstone of every democratic system.
