10 . For the declaration of the electoral combinations of independent parties, coalition of cooperating parties and independents, the number of candidate MPs, of each gender, must amount to at least 40% of the total number of their candidates, respectively, per electoral district. Any decimal number is rounded to the next whole unit as long as the fraction is equal to one half of the unit or more. The above limitation does not apply to the State ballot. In any case, the total number of candidates of the electoral combinations of independent parties, coalitions of cooperating parties and independent of each gender in the whole of the Territory, excluding State parliament candidates, must amount to 33% of the total number of their candidates. Any decimal number is rounded to the next whole unit as long as the fraction is equal to one half of the unit or more. (Article 34) |

All draws are conducted, in full respect of these Statutes, by the Digital Data Manager of DiEM25's Coordinating Committee, who has access to the data of MeRA25 members and in a manner that fully satisfies the principle of equal probability of a draw (between members entitled to be drawn), the principle of drawing the same number of women and men (except in cases where an increased number of women is required in accordance with Chapter 6.3), as well as the protection of personal data. Additional information
Greece has implemented one-third gender quotas for women and men in all collective organs of public institutions, as well as for national commissions in the field of research and technology, provided that candidates are adequately qualified (Ministry of Interior, General Secretariat for Gender Equality).
