If the EMB uses technology to collect voter registration data, is biometric data captured and used during registration?

Biometric data was notcaptured during registration, as observed by the AU report, who noted that thevoter identification is crucial, and that the voters card should have been photo-equippedor the national ID with a photo should have been used in addition to the votingcard. The Voter register is created by the Ministry of Planning, according tothe AU report on the equatorial Guinea elections. The Mission noted thatthe vote was only on presentation of voter's card without any verification ofidentity. (Page 14)
