The regulations of challenges regardingelection results are explained in the Syrian constitution. This is a rare caseto find EJ procedures embodied in the constitution. Articles 66 and 89 are verybrief and not mentioning anything regarding filling fees. Only article 67 ofthe parliamentary election law exempt candidates from government fees. Thisarticle is limited to the actions mentioned in the law and cannot be applied onchallenges to election results.
