Joseph (Joe) Noonan is a PhD student in the Political Science Department at Stockholm University, specializing in comparative politics, political behavior, and quantitative methods, with a focus on issues related to democracy. Previously, Noonan was an Associate Programme Officer at International IDEA, where he contributed to the analysis and data management of their Global State of Democracy Indices. He has also been an associate researcher on the Demscore project, working with the Historical Data Archive (H-DATA), a hub of historical country-level data spanning centuries.
