Bhutan is highly vulnerable to the impact of climate change, in particular due to the ongoing melting of its glaciers and the related impact on management of its water resources. At the same time, it is one of the few countries in the world with a credible claim to carbon neutrality, as its forests absorb more carbon than the country's economy generates.
