Belgium is part of the European Green Deal and has adopted a comprehensive climate policy framework, aiming to reduce its emissions by 47% by 2030 compared to 2005 levels. The priority should now be on implementation, in particular in the transport and industry sectors (Climate Change Performance Index and International Energy Agency).
