Clarification by the Directorate-General for Parliamentary Research Services of the European Parliament: 

"In 2024, for the first time, by Law 5083/2024, postal voting was established in Greece, as a means of facilitating the exercise of voters' right to vote for the European elections and national referenda. However, in the case of holding European elections or a national referendum at the same time as parliamentary elections, the provisions in question do not apply, but the provisions of Law 4648/2019 (A' 205), as applicable, according to which the right to vote is exercised exclusively in the electoral departments established inside or outside the Greek territory.
