Clarification by the Directorate-General for Parliamentary Research Services of the European Parliament: 

"In 2024, for the first time, by Law 5083/2024, postal voting was established in Greece, as a means of facilitating the exercise of voters' right to vote for the European elections and national referenda. However, in the case of holding European elections or a national referendum at the same time as parliamentary elections, the provisions in question do not apply, but the provisions of Law 4648/2019 (A' 205), as applicable, according to which the right to vote is exercised exclusively in the electoral departments established inside or outside the Greek territory. Postal voting is allowed only for European Parliamentary Elections and national referenda
