Balanced participation of women and men

Candidates for general elections and municipal elections must have a balanced composition of women and men, so that in the list as a whole the candidates of each sex make up at least 40%. When the number of positions to be filled is less than five, the proportion of women and men must seek the greatest possible numerical balance. For alternate lists, the above rules shall apply.
