Rank-order rules

• In electoral constituencies where there is only one seat to be filled, the political party or coalition of political parties may nominate either a man or a woman as a candidate.

• In electoral constituencies where there are two seats to be filled, the political party or coalition of political parties is required to respect parity between men and women when submitting the list of candidates. (Article 151)
