32. Are there provisions for free or subsidized access to media for political parties?

[Art. 6.1. Het Commissariaat wijst jaarlijks een aantal uren op de algemene programmakanalen van de landelijke publieke mediadienst toe aan politieke partijen die bij de laatstgehouden verkiezing van de leden van de Tweede of Eerste Kamer der Staten-Generaal een of meer zetels hebben verworven.]

"1. The Commission annually allocates a number of hours on the general program channels of the national public media service to political parties that acquired one or more seats in the last election of the members of the House of Representatives or the Senate of the States General.
2.The Commission allocates a number of hours on the general program channels of the national public media service to:
a. political parties that participate in the election of the members of the House of Representatives of the States General in at least nineteen electoral districts; and
b.political parties that participate in the election of members of the European Parliament in the Netherlands.
3. The hours referred to in the second paragraph are available in a period to be determined by the Commissioner that immediately precedes the day set in the Netherlands for the relevant election."
