47. Do political parties have to report regularly on their finances?

A political party shall, at least once every year, make available to its members all financial records of the party. 
Section 31, Political Parties Act, 2018.

Political parties are expected to produce financial reports annually which are to be made available to all their party members and they are expected to declare their assets to the registrar of political parties every five years.
