41. Are there limits on the amount a candidate can spend?

50.1.Төрийн аудитын дээд байгууллага нам, эвсэл болон тойрогт нэр дэвшигчээс сонгуульд зарцуулах зардлын дээд хэмжээг ээлжит сонгуулийн жилийн 03 дугаар сарын 01-ний өдрөөс өмнө энэ хуулийн 50.2-т заасан аргачлалын дагуу тогтоож, нийтэд мэдээлнэ.

Law on Parliamentary Election 50.1. The state audit high authority shall set the maximum amount of election expenses by the method indicated in the Article 50.2 of this law for a party, coalition, and candidate of election district before March 1st of election year and announce it publicly.

The methodology to set the maximum amount of election expenditure shall be based on the size of the election territory, location, number of households and voters and other requirements set forth in the Parliamentary Election law.
