4. Is there a ban on corporate donations to candidates?

53.3.Энэ хуулиар хориглоогүй, түүнчлэн тухайн хуулийн этгээдийн дүрэмд өөрөөр заагаагүй бол хуулийн этгээд хандивлагч байж болно.

Law on Parliamentary Election 53.3 A legal entity may donate provided that the donation is not prohibited by this Law, and unless otherwise provided in the charter of the legal entity.

According to the Law on Parliamentary Election, candidates can run independently and compete with parties.

31.1. A citizen for an election district who meets the requirements set forth in this Law can nominate him/herself as an independent candidate.  
The main criteria is the signatures of no less than 801 voters.
31.2. An independent candidate shall have signatures of no less than 801 voters of the respective election district as performs approved by the General Election Commission.
