51. Is information in reports from political parties and/or candidates to be made public?

Artículo 111:
Son obligaciones de los partidos políticos:
(...) Llevar un juego completo de libros de contabilidad, debidamente registrados en el Tribunal Electoral, y conservar todos los comprobantes que respalden los ingresos recibidos del financiamiento público y los gastos ejecutados contra dicho financiamiento. El Tribunal Electoral pondrá a disposición de la ciudadanía en general el libre acceso a toda esta información por cualquier método disponible, de conformidad con lo establecido en la Ley 6 de 2002.

Artículo 242:
(...) Son obligaciones del tesorero de campaña:
1. Llevar un registro de los ingresos y gastos, según se identifica en el artículo 241.
2. Presentar a la Dirección de Fiscalización del Financiamiento Político, un informe mensual durante el periodo comprendido entre la apertura de la cuenta única de campaña y hasta el día antes de la elección, el cual será de acceso público en la página web del Tribunal Electoral. (...)

Article 111:
The following are obligations of the political parties:
(...) To keep a complete set of accounting books, duly registered with the Electoral Tribunal, and to keep all vouchers supporting the income received from public financing and the expenses executed against such financing. The Electoral Tribunal shall make available to the general public free access to all this information by any available method, in accordance with the provisions of Law 6 of 2002.

Article 242:
(...) The duties of the campaign treasurer are:
1. To keep a record of income and expenditures, as identified in Article 241.
2. To submit to the Directorate of Political Financing Control, a monthly report during the period between the opening of the single campaign account and the day before the election, which shall be publicly accessible on the web page of the Electoral Tribunal. (...)
