8. Is there a ban on anonymous donations to candidates?

Artículo 230:
Quedan prohibidas las siguientes donaciones o aportes a partidos políticos, precandidatos y candidatos:
2. Las donaciones o los aportes anónimos, salvo los que se originen en colectas populares reglamentadas en este Código.

Artículo 250:
Para efectos de este Código, se entiende por colecta popular los aportes provenientes de: Alcancías, sorteos o rifas, y cualquier tipo de actividad festiva con pago en dinero en efectivo en las que no se exige la identificación del donante; en cuyo caso, la donación o compra del boleto, no podrá ser superior a veinte balboas (B/.20.00)."

Article 230:
The following donations or contributions to political parties, pre-candidates and candidates are prohibited: 
2. Donations or anonymous contributions, except for those originating in popular collections regulated in this Code.

Article 250: 
For the purposes of this Code, popular collection is understood to mean contributions from Piggy banks, raffles or raffles, and any type of festive activity with payment in cash in which the donor is not in which the identification of the donor is not required; in which case, the donation or purchase of the ticket may not exceed twenty balboas. Anonymous donations are forbidden. However, there is an exception on the Electoral Code "except for those originating from popular collections."
