2. Is there a ban on donations from foreign interests to candidates?

Presidential Elections Law Article 14. (https://www.mevzuat.gov.tr/mevzuat?MevzuatNo=6271&MevzuatTur=1&MevzuatTertip=5 ) Adaylar, yabancı devletlerden, uluslararası kuruluşlardan, tüzel kişilerden ve Türk uyrukluğunda olmayan gerçek kişilerden bağış ve yardım alamazlar. Candidates cannot receive donations or aid from foreign states, international organizations, legal entites and real persons who are not Turkish nationals.

Law on Political Parties (Article 116): A party representative or candidate or nominated candidate who accepts any aid or donation from foreign governments, international organizations and natural persons or legal entities that are not of Turkish citizenship shall be sentenced to imprisonment from one year to three years.

Law for Presidential Elections strictly prohibits any donations from foreign interests. Law on Political Parties also prohibits and donations to deputy candidates from foreign interests.
