18. Is there a limit on the amount a donor can contribute to a candidate?

Souce: art. 152, the Electoral Code of Ukraine, 2019: "Voluntary contributions of a person [both natural or legal] to the electoral fund [of a party or candidate] are limited to the maximum contribution to support the party during the year, as set out by the Law of Ukraine on Political Parties in Ukraine"

"Добровільні внески особи до виборчого фонду обмежуються розміром максимального внеску на підтримку партії протягом року, встановленим Законом України "Про політичні партії в Україні."

Generally, all donations are to be made through PP. The exceptions are minor: the electoral fund of self-nominated candidate to the Presiden of Ukraine and electoral funds of self-nominated deputies to local councils of villages or small towns. Donations to these are subject to the same limits as laid down for political parties.

Legal persons can not contribute to funds of candidates at local elections.
