Electoral system for national legislature

Guernsey, The Reform (Guernsey) Law, 1948 (last amended in 2020), accessed 13 October 2020

Article 26(2) In the General Election to be held in [2021], and hereafter, for the purposes of elections to the office of People's Deputy Guernsey shall comprise one Electoral District returning 38 People's Deputies.

Article 30(2) In the General Election to be held in [2021], and at each General Election thereafter, a person entitled to vote in accordance with this Law may cast votes for up to 38 candidates.

Referendum held in 2018 has changed to electoral system: from having several electoral districts to having one island-wide district returning 38 deputies. In both cases, the system is Block Vote.
