49. Do candidates have to report on their election campaign finances?

Art. 64 Law 6501/2

The country implemented an open lists system in 2019 (reference: law 6318/19). As a result a new law on political finance was approved ( Law 6501/20) which provides that candidates have to report on campaign finances. Candidates are not required to submit a report on income and expenses and a statement of economic interest.
