Georgia
Article 30, Organic Law of Georgia on Political Unions of Citizens, 1997.
According to the Georgian legislation, the Central Election Commission of Georgia also plays a formal role in relation to the political parties’ finances. For example, the amount of state funding for a political party is determined by a decree of the Chairperson of the Central Election Commission of Georgia, a summary protocol of the final results of the Georgian Parliamentary elections, the information on establishing a parliamentary faction by a political party and the results of general elections of the representative bodies of the municipalities (Sakrebulos).
