42. If there are limits on the amount a candidate can spend, what is the limit?

"Obligations provided for in this article are also applicable to candidates proposed by voters who are registered in accordance with articles 69 and 70 of this Code. The total amount that a candidate proposed by voters may spend shall not exceed 50 percent of the highest amount that an electoral subject has obtained from public funds, according to article 87/3 of this Code".
