“A total of 13,843 Omani citizens living abroad voted in the Majlis A’Shura’s tenth-term elections via the Intakhib app on Sunday. Residents will exercise their franchise on October 29. […] Juman bint Ahmed al Hashimiya, from the Ministry of Interior, said that the launch of the Intakhib app was an effective solution and a qualitative leap in the electoral process of Majlis A’Shura. “The app provided a convenient way for citizens abroad to exercise their right to vote, increasing the participation rate.”
