In the case of legislative elections, final results at constituency level for the 300 members of the Lower Chamber that are elected through a FPTP system are announced around three days after elections, if no challenge  is submitted, then they are regarded as definitive and certified. Otherwise, they are valid and certified once challenges have been solved. Same procedure is applied to other legislative elections, but all challenges and complaints shall be solved no latter than eight weeks after elections, shortly before those elected shall oath for office. In the case of presidential elections, the Electoral Court shall adjudicate all disputes regarding the results, no later than the first week of September after the elections, then is entitled to declare the validity of the election and to certify the result. Even if no challenges are submitted, the Electoral Court has to make the final call and the certification of results.
