Article 88: Required documents for a voter
Each registered voter is allowed to vote after presenting his or her National Identity card or any substitute document issued by competent institutions and his or her voter’s card. In case he or she does not have one of the above mentioned documents, the polling room Coordinator shall authorise him or her to vote after conducting a thorough verification.
Article 89: An eligible voter whose photograph is not on the Voters’ register
An eligible voter whose photograph is not on the voters’ register shall be allowed to vote. However, he or she shall be allowed to cast his or her vote after presenting a voter’s card and the national identity card or a substitute document issued by a competent institution.
The voter register is compiled using the civil registry. The photos of the voters are incorporated in the final voter register used in the polling stations on the Election Day.
