36. Is the provision of direct public funding to political parties tied to gender equality among candidates?

Each list of candidatures presented by a political party or a group during legislative and municipal elections must include at least 30% of candidacies for the of one and the other sex. Any political party or group whose lists do not comply with the provisions of this law, loses 50% of public funding for election campaigns.
