International IDEA Chad's program support the Ministry of National Reconciliation and Social Cohesion

"I appreciate the work you are doing for my country beyond my ministry. I have come to know IDEA International’s action in Chad because I have attended several of your activities and I think you are doing a colossal job and a good job for the Chadian government and population. It is important that we thank you and the European Union, which has never stopped helping Chad," said the Minister of National Reconciliation and Social Cohesion expressing his appreciation for this support".

"In the frame of its program “Support to the democratic transition in Chad” funded by the European Union, IDEA International, has made available to the Ministry of National Reconciliation and Social Cohesion two vehicles (4WD) to facilitate its missions in the field.

A solemn ceremony of the official handover of this equipment was presided over by the Minister of National Reconciliation and Social Cohesion Abderahmane Koulamallah and the Head of IDEA International's Chad Program Abdoul Wahab Ba. The ceremony was also attended by a representative of the European Union Delegation in Chad, on Wednesday, 01 February 2023.

In his introductory remarks, Abdoul Wahab Ba indicated that this action is meant to support the efforts of the Ministry of National Reconciliation and Social Cohesion in its field missions for the promotion of peace, strengthening of social cohesion and promotion of community dialogue, fostering an enabling environment conducive of a peaceful transition. He also praised the cooperation with the Chadian government and acknowledged the good collaboration with the European Union in the conduct of this program.
