World Forum for Democracy Panel Time for Facts: The state of public opinion towards gender equality and democracy worldwide

The World Forum for Democracy is an annual event in Strasbourg, France. For 2018, the Forum focus is gender equality. At the "Time for Facts" panel, Annika Silva-Leander, Head of the Democracy Assessment and Political Analysis unit, will present data and anaylsis from the Global State of Democracy indices on the state of gender equality and the political empowerment of women, comparing trends around the world, and over time.

Joining her in the discussion is Richard Wike, Director of Global Attiudes Research at Pew Research Center.
