Violence Against Women in Political and Electoral Processes: Electoral Risk Management Workshop

International IDEA and Gender Links are running an Electoral Risk Management (ERM) Workshop entitled “Violence against women in political and electoral processes” in Johannesburg, South Africa, during the period 15–17 January 2019.

The workshop includes more than 20 participants from different Southern Africa Development Community (SADC) countries: Botswana, DRC, Eswatini, Lesotho, Malawi, Mauritius, Madagascar, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, Zambia and Zimbabwe.

The overall objective of the workshop is to sensitise the Gender Links’ Alliance and Country Programmes about the ERM Tool, its use and to customize the tool for improved monitoring, prevention and mitigation of violence against women in political and electoral processes.
