Stockholm Internet Forum 2021: Mobilising for Digital Resilience – a free, open, and secure internet in the shifting landscapes of the pandemic
International IDEA will co-organize two sessions during the seventh edition of Stockholm Internet Forum (SIF21), hosted by The Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida) on 10-12 May 2021. The event will focus on the topic of Mobilising for Digital Resilience – a free, open, and secure internet in the shifting landscapes of the pandemic.
International IDEA has closely monitored the impact of Covid-19 on democracy and human rights, with special focus on elections. The two sessions will explore the intersection between information integrity and elections from different angles:
Elections – Internet Regulation and Information Integrity
This session will identify emerging trends and challenges to electoral integrity in Africa within the fast-evolving context of digital information regulation.
