Launching event of The State of Local Democratic Governance in Kenya

International IDEA in collaboration with the Centre for Multiparty Democracy in Kenya, is organizing a launching event for the abridged Report titled "The State of Local Democratic Governance in Kenya.

The Report, funded by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, sheds light on the state of local democracy alongside issues of gender and inclusion. The CMD-Kenya commissioned a survey which applied International IDEA’s State of Local Democracy framework, to conduct a ‘health check’ for democratic governance at the local level to identify strengths and weaknesses. This abridged Report presents the main findings of the survey.
