Launch Event: Gender-Sensitive Scrutiny Guide
Parliaments are where the diverse needs of citizens are represented, through the people they elect and the decisions they make. The choices made by parliaments in the coming years will determine which direction is taken on the road to global gender equality: forwards or backwards. The new INTER PARES guide to gender-sensitive scrutiny provides MPs and parliamentary staff with a practical framework to advance gender equality through their law-making and oversight work.
The INTER PARES “Gender-Sensitive Scrutiny: A Guide to More Effective Law-Making and Oversight” Launch Event will take place on Wednesday, 9 March, 12:00 - 13:00 CET, in Zoom Webinars.
The programme will include two expert panels that will discuss firstly the theory and principles of gender-sensitive scrutiny, and then its practical implementation in different parliaments, each with a duration of 25 minutes.
- Event languages: English, French, Spanish
- The full text of the report will be available on 9 March 2022
