International Political Campaigns Expo 2024
Under the theme "Transforming Political Campaigns: How AI and Big Data Amplify Voter Engagement and Shape Political Campaigns in Africa" International IDEA Political Participation and Representation Programme is sponsoring the International Political Campaigns Expo which will be held in Cape Town, South Africa from the 24 to the 26 January 2024.
IPE2024 is a dynamic platform where African political parties, election management bodies, astute campaign managers, tech visionaries, and academics in the political campaign space converge to delve into the profound impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Big Data on African political campaigns.
The African political campaign landscape is diverse, encompassing a wide range of challenges and opportunities. While elections are crucial to democratic processes, they often face hurdles related to accessibility, transparency, and voter engagement. Political campaigns in Africa require innovative solutions to address these challenges and enhance the democratic experience for citizens.
The theme for IPE 2024 is timely and pertinent. This theme serves as a clarion call for innovation in the African political campaign landscape, underscoring the profound impact of AI and Big Data in redefining voter engagement and reshaping campaign strategies, and the trickle-down effects of such interventions
