ARTICLE 177. The electoral system consists of the National Election Board, the National Office of Elections, and the National Identification and Civil Status Registry. They are autonomous and coordinate their work with each other, in accordance with their authorities.

Artículo 3.- Coordinación entre los Organismos Electorales
La Oficina Nacional de Procesos Electorales, conjuntamente con el Jurado Nacional de Elecciones y el Registro Nacional de Identificación y Estado Civil, conforman el Sistema Electoral peruano, de conformidad con lo establecido por el Artículo 177 de la Constitución Política del Perú. Mantiene permanentes relaciones de coordinación con dichas entidades, de acuerdo a sus atribuciones.
