Chile

In 2022, Chile was marked by the process of constitutional change, which is still ongoing. From the beginning, the Chile Office and its Constitutional Construction Program forged alliances with actors and institutions to promote a participatory and impartial process; providing advice and technical assistance to various institutions, such as the Constitutional Convention itself and the Chilean government.

In 2023, the Chile Office maintains its operations so that the second constitutional period can be carried out successfully, promoting spaces for participation and dialogue, but also providing technical support to the National Congress, which on the one hand must lead the transformation by granting legitimacy to the changes, and on the other, perfecting its functions and strengthen its legislative powers to better work over the new political cycle.
