30. What is the allocation calculation for political parties to receive public funding?

A fixed annual allocation is provided to the eligible political parties equally;  political parties having obtained at least 1% without reaching 3% of the number of votes cast during the general legislative elections benefit from an additional amount equal to the aforementioned fixed allocation for all the local electoral constituencies; annual support is granted to political parties having obtained at least 3% of the votes cast during the elections referred to above.                                   The amount of this support is distributed on the basis of the seats and votes obtained by each political party during these elections..Each political party is granted an amount equal to five times the amount due to each seat pursuant to the rule provided above for each seat won at the level of constituency.

The equal contribution of the State funding is fixed at 750.000 dirhams for each political party. The second installment is distributed in accordance with a special formula specified by Décret n° 2-16-666, 6 kaada 1437 (August 10, 2016), http://www.sgg.gov.ma/BO/bo_fr/2016/BO_6500_Fr.pdf.     The second installment is paid after the official announcement of th election results, however, 30% of the second installment can be paid to political parties after the election date is published in the Official Bulletin.
