11. Is there a ban on donations from corporations with partial government ownership to political parties?

Art 15 Political parties are not allowed to receive donations in the form of cash, transfer of property, services, carrying out work (including through grants, technical assistance, payment of expenses related to travels, as well as trainings, seminars, conferences, held in the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan and abroad) from: - foreign states; - legal persons of foreign states, their representative offices and branches; - international organizations, their representative offices and branches; enterprises with foreign investments; - foreign citizens; - stateless people.The political parties are not entitled to receive donations in the form of cash, transfer of property, services, carrying out work from bodies of self-government of citizens, religious organizations, and anonymous persons or persons under a pseudonym.Art 12 A political party is entitled to receive donations only from legal entities (with the exception of enterprises with foreign investments) and the citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan in cash or by transfer of property, services, carrying out work, and only for statutory activities.
