54. Do lobbying entities have to disclose information on contributions to political parties or candidates?

Election Campaign Financing Act 2013

It is a requirement in the Election Campaign Financing Act 2013 that any organization which intends to campaign in support of a candidate, a political party or a referendum committee shall in writing, seek consent to campaign from the candidate, the political party or the referendum committee as the case may be the organisation intends to campaign in support of; register with the Commission; and open a campaign financing account into which the contributions shall be deposited. These are meant to disclose all sources of funds.
