Electoral system for national legislature

The 2022 elections were held under a new electoral system. Under the new system, the role of Senators was abolished and replaced with 37 Deputies elected from 9 districts using plurality block vote. The election of one Constable from each of the twelve parishes was maintained. Constables were elected using FPTP system.
