LAW N° 27/2010 OF 19/06/2010 RELATING TO ELECTIONS

Article 87: Presidential elections constituency

The electoral constituency extends to the entire country. However, Rwandans residing abroad shall be allowed to vote in accordance with the provisions of this law.

Article 104: Electoral constituency in direct elections of Deputies

The electoral constituency for the election of the members of the Chamber of Deputies under the political organisations or coalition of political organisations or those standing as independent candidates extends to the entire country. However, Rwandans living in diaspora shall be authorized to vote in accordance with provisions of this law.

Article 177: Organisation and conduct of election for the Rwandan diaspora

Subject to the provisions provided for under this title, the provisions pertaining to the organization and conduct of presidential, parliamentary and referendum elections provided for by this law shall equally apply to Rwandan diaspora.
