Software used by the TE is of its own design and property, and meant for the use of the institution because of the confidential data of each citizen that the databases contain. The institution considers that the usage of OPS would endanger the privacy of the information that has been trusted to it.

 

As in every electoral process, automatisation is sought after by the institution, and the source codes of the software used is only revealed to the relevant stakeholders the day before the election day and with every safeguard needed.
