Is the biometric data used in voter identification at polling stations?

“Voters were identified on election day through the use of Voter Authentication Devices (VADs), which contained an electronic copy of the voter lists. Voters’ fingerprints were also scanned and the CEC informed the IEOM that it will conduct cross-checks to identify potential cases of multiple voting in case of complaints.”
