CHAPTER V ELECTION DISPUTES
(1) Noelection shall be called in question except by an election petition presentedby a candidate for that election in accordance with the provisions of thisChapter.
(2) An election petition shall be presented tothe High Court Division within such time as may be prescribed.
(3) An election petition shall be accompanied byas many copies thereof as there are respondents mentioned in the p etition andevery such copy shall be attested by the petitioner under his own signature tobe a true copy of the petition.
(4) At the time of presenting an electionpetition, the petitioner shall deposit in the High Court Division in accordancewith the rules of the High Court Division a sum of Taka two thousand assecurity for the costs of the petition.
