Oksana Bedenko is the Project Manager, Ukraine (REO) within the Regional Europe Programme, she joined International IDEA in February 2025. She leads the implementation of programme activities supporting Ukraine’s democratic deepening, including thematic needs assessments, knowledge-exchange visits, and the development of knowledge products. For the past 14 years, Oksana worked as a Senior Elections and Political Processes Expert at USAID, managing electoral, civil society, and media portfolios across Ukraine, Belarus, and Afghanistan. Prior to that, she worked with private companies, overseeing project implementation and assisting foreign businesses in establishing operations in Ukraine.
