Karma Dema is the Bhutan Programme Management Coordinator. 

Dema provides programmatic support toward the implementation of International IDEA’s projects in Bhutan with the Parliament of Bhutan and Civil Society Organization. 

Prior to joining International IDEA, she worked as a Programme Officer for DANIDA for more than seven years managing the Good Governance Support Programme/Public Administrative Reform with concentration in the area of gender in governance, public administrative reforms, engagement structures between State and non-State actors.
