Jainaba Faye is the Head of International IDEA’s Gambia office and Programme Manager for the EU Funded CODE Project. She is a Programme Management Specialist and Political Analyst with years of professional experience in delivering policy and programmes with particular interest in democracy, good governance, human rights, and rule of law.

Before joining International IDEA, she served as the Political & Economic Affairs Officer at the British High Commission in Banjul for six years where she was also the lead on bilateral programmes. Jainaba obtained a Master of Arts Degree in Diplomacy and International Affairs at ADA University, Baku – Azerbaijan and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics and Finance at the University of The Gambia.

Jainaba is a young professional with great passion for development and making positive and dignified change in the lives of every human.
