Cecilia is a Programme Assistant of the Digitalization and Democracy, Global Programmes, in Stockholm. Cecilia joined International IDEA in January 2024.  

Cecilia contributes to the Digitalization and Democracy Programme with research and analysis on topics at the intersection of digital technologies and society. Further, she supports the programme with the development of communication materials and publications, as well as logistical planning of programme activities.

Prior to joining IDEA, Cecilia worked at Uppsala University’s Unit for Global Partnerships on projects coordinating internationally collaborative, sustainable and inclusive research and networks in higher education. Her work primarily focused on projects in South Africa, Southeast Asia and Latin America.
