Associate Programme Officer, Electoral Processes

Bianca Canevari is an Associate Programme Officer at the International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance (International IDEA), where she is dedicated to supporting sustainable democracy worldwide. Working within the Electoral Processes (EP) Team, Bianca focuses on the intersection of digitalisation and democracy, specifically protecting electoral processes in the digital age.

Bianca holds a Master’s degree in International Cooperation and Project Management from ITIRI University of Strasbourg, with a dissertation on the Eastern Partnership Initiative, and has training in International Law from the Catholic University of Louvain.

Before joining IDEA, Bianca worked as a consultant at the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in the Department of Strategic Planning and Organisational Performance. She also gained valuable experience as a Monitoring and Evaluation Intern at the Joint Inspection Unit of the United Nations and contributed as a member of the EU Security and Defence Working Group at the European Student Think Tank.
