Benigna Chibuanuli Ejimba is a Programme Officer, Sierra Leone Office, Freetown. 

Ejimba joined International IDEA in January 2023. She is in charge of developing and overseeing the implementation of political participation and representation activities, and supports the development of knowledge products on participation to promote comparative learning and evidence-based citizen engagement in Sierra Leone.

Ejimba is a lawyer and has years of experience in democratic governance, capacity-building and parliamentary processes, having worked with parliaments. Her core practice areas include legal reforms, research and advisory, advocacy, legislative drafting, compliance, constitutional law, corporate law, international law and contract negotiation.
